World Class Purebred German Shepherds
At GSD Purebreed we are dedicated German Shepherd Dog owners and breeders. We are located around Mankato, Minnesota. We breed work-line German shepherd dogs. They are purebred with true German lines. Our dogs are dark sable and jet black with exceptional brown markings and medium length coat stock. Also, all are AKC registered. We breed for the love of these animals with care and thoughtfulness.

GSD Purebred purchased our dogs from Kraftwerk K9. They are one of the best GSD breeders in the United States. They are AKC registered and have pedigrees. They are purebred German Shepherd dogs with true German lines and are work-line dogs. Our dogs are all first generation here in America, with their parents being brought over from Germany.
All our dogs are kept in very good shape with lots of exercise and a large property to roam. Each day we do some form of training, and they all look forward to it.
Olta – Born in 2022
Olta has a beautiful dark sable short hair coat and is athletically built. She knows how to be neutral in every situation and has a strong desire to bond with her owner. She is energetic, active, and transitions easily from totally calm and relaxed, to being quickly on command. Olta is very obedient and reliable. She learns new things very quickly and loves to accomplish anything that is asked of her. She has strong protective instincts, all while maintaining a safe demeanor as she plays with our children and grandchildren.
Olta has passed her OFA Testing and is AKC registered, as well as completing BH level training with Kraftwork K9 Inc.
Xavi - Born in 2022
Xavi is our stunning sire who has a black medium-length coat with brown markings. He is very friendly and loves when our grandkids come to visit. He is not aggressive, but his ability to protect is impeccable. He is energetic to obey commands, great at learning new things, and is always so gentle and respectful. Xavi comes from a great line a strong, powerful, and well-built German Shepherds. He is very steady and sure of himself and has great manners inside and out.
Xavi is AKC registered, and both his parents have passed the OFA test.
Lucy - Born in 2023
Lucy is our youngest dog with a wonderful Sable colored short coat. She shows a wonderful personality to be a great protective working dog with lots of power. She is very loyal, loves being around her owner, and is fully committed in any situation. She has a very strong grip when training with the sleeve and is such a powerhouse with any training she does. She is very aware of her surroundings and loves to check around the property each day to see if there’s anything new. Lucy has top performance bloodlines which are known for a sound temperament and a solid constitution, and she shows much confidence both mentally and physically.
Lucy is AKC registered, and both her parents have passed the OFA test.

I grew up in Ukraine and in 1994, my family and I moved to Minnesota. When we lived in Ukraine, we had German Shepherds of our own that we loved dearly and took great care of. For a long time, we were not able to own German Shepherds because we did not have the outdoor space for them. After some time, we were able to buy over five acres of land where we could live out in the country and have plenty of space for our dogs. They have the freedom to explore the outdoors and not be cooped up in a small kennel or tied on a leash all day.
On our property, we built a generous size kennel for our dogs which includes insulation, air conditioning and heat. We want our dogs to be comfortable during our cold Midwest winters and during the heat of summer. Even though our dogs have quite a luxury home, they are able to spend as much time as they want outdoors on our property - exploring, learning, and protecting. With the help of our invisible fence, they have learned where our territory is and therefore have learned to be great protective dogs.
We started off with breeding show-line dogs but have now transitioned to only breeding work-line dogs.
In my opinion, I consider German Shepherds to be the best dogs because they are very loyal, courageous, smart, trainable, strong, resilient, excellent with children and are protective of their own.
